Lynn continues as hostess for the CCEE Stampers this week, telling us that today is National Simplicity Day, in honor of Henry David Thoreau, who was a devoted advocate of living a life of simplicity. So on this lazy day of summer, her challenge to us was to create a clean and simple one-layer card.
Some time ago I bought a set of stamps inspired by the "simple" thoughts of kids. I used one of them on my card today. What is better than a friend with chocolate?
Check out the rest of the simple cards created by the rest of the CCEE Stampers team over on the blog.

haha love that sentiment
About the only thing better would be a friend with crafting supplies!! LOL!! I love this fabulously fun card, Lois!
Funny, your kisses made me think of the joke of the pastor's wife who held up a KISS sign. The pastor thought it was a quick word of endearment when she said it meant: keep it simple, stupid! Now, how do those things pop up in my head at 7 AM???
And I DO love chocolate!! Cute card with the kisses and sponged corners, Lois!
That's me! I admit, I'm a Chocolate addict! Eat chocolate....go to Planet Fitness....repeat! No weight loss, but good chocolate and exercise. Love this card. Like how you inked the corners!
that is the truth.....love those candy kisses....look real....also love the elegant framing
Oh yes, this is perfect, Lois! Love the fun saying! And I agree :)
That’s adorable. Got to love the honesty of children!
