My first card today is an easel card.  I combined a few MFP sets on this card.  Of course, the boxer and the sentiment are from Fabulous Pets, today's set; but the birch trees are from News from the Woods, and the sentiment is from Lots of Words.  I'm experimenting with different ways to make clouds in the sky.  I actually used two methods on this card.  I bought a cloud stencil from Inky Antics a couple of years ago and used it by sponging some blue ink against it.  Then I popped up a die cut cloud with the sentiment stamped on it.

My second card sort of reminds me of my sister's house (except that she has dogs, not cats, as well as parrots).  While they are not exactly friends, they at least tolerate each other.  I made the parrot stand using a strip of card stock and a punched oval.  The wallpaper and wood floor are patterned paper.

Please continue along on our blog hop and check out all the fantastic work of the rest of the team.  And make sure you comment often in order to have a chance at winning a free stamp set.

I've actually used the same technique (Sun Rays) on both of the cards I made for today's set, Easter.  There is a tutorial on Speedy TV showing how to achieve this look.  My first card is a clean and simple card, with just the sunrays and a single sentiment.  I stamped "Happy Easter" on the inside.

My second card is an easel card on which I used one of the images from the set along with a sentiment.

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT blogs in our hop today.  Easter is right around the corner, and you might fnd something you would like to use as inspiration for your own cards.  And don't forget to comment on the blogs for a chance to win one of this month's stamp sets.

I decided that I was going to make an easel card with as many sets as I could during this month's Blog Hop.  Here's my first easel card for the week.  The clouds were made by holding a punched scallop circle on the page and sponging the blue onto the background.  I added a butterfly from the MFP set Glad Glads.

My second card is a one-layer clean and simple card.  Again I used images from other MFP sets.  This time they are the tulips from Springs Things and the grass from Scenic Selections.

Be sure to check out all the creations by the rest of the designers.  We hope to bring you lots of inspiration this week.
