Let's get started !!

My anniversary card for today looks like a standard A2 card . . .

. . . but, when you pull the ends, you will see that it is actually a wiper card.

For this card I used the MFP Stamp Shop set called Love Love Love.

Nov. 25. Pop Up Card by Lois
Nov. 27 - A Fun Fold by Sandy

We've arrived at the last day of our celebration blog hop.  And it's Susie and Clarke's first anniversary.  I wanted my card to reflect the symbols of the first anniversary, so I did a little research and found the following information:

Traditional Gift:  paper  (how appropriate is that for a card!)
Gemstone:  Peridot  (I had to fudge a little bit on this one.  My enamel dots are pale green, the color of the peridot.)
Color: Gold or Yellow
Flower:  Orange Blossom or Pansy

Here's my card, which incorporates all of those things.

The MFP Stamp Shop sets that I used on this card are Spring Flowers and Swans.

Let's get started!!

While the paper doll sets were not necessarily my favorite stamps last year, this project that I made for the Paper Doll sets is my favorite project for 2014.  I combined all three of the original paper doll sets to create this dressing room.

Here are close-ups of the various parts of the dressing room.

Another smaller project using the Paper Doll sets is this “armoire card” that I made for a Tutorial Team challenge.

Again I made a new card with the Paper Doll and the coordinating set, Paper Doll Formal Wear.

Here is the Design Team for today:

I hope we have touched on some of your favorite MFP stamps during this month's blog hop.  Be sure to comment often for your chance to win a free stamp set.

CCEE1422 - Number It!

Frances is ending her month as hostess of the CCEE Stampers Blog with an interesting challenge -- Number It!  We were to include a number somewhere on our card.  I took the opportunity to make an anniversary card for good friends of mine who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.  I used a fun fold technique called a Building Block Card to create my card.

We'd love for you to play along with us.  Just link up your card at the CCEE Stampers blog.  If you upload your card to another site, such as Splitcoaststampers, be sure to add the keyword CCEE1422.

CCEE1345 - Ribbon and Lace

It's November already!!!  Cindy Haffner is the new CCEE Stampers hostess for this month, and the theme of her first challenge is ribbon and lace.  My card definitely has ribbon -- the lace part is a bit dubious.   My die cut sort of looks like lace -- so that's my story and I'm sticking to it!  This card could work as either a wedding or anniversary card.

We'd love for you to play along with us.  Just link your card at the bottom of the CCEE Stampers blog.

Stampin'B Challenge - Anniversary Card

Anne Harmon (jdmommy) is the hostess for today's Stampin'Bs challenge. And she appropriately asked the team to make an anniversary card -- it's her 48th anniversary. Congratulations on 48 years of marriage, Anne!

Mark's Finest Papers' set Pears and Hollyhock is the perfect set for an anniversary. The sentiment "You make a fine pair" is so appropriate.

I used the smaller of the two pears in the set and stamped two of them. Using a Martha Stewart "around the corner" punch set, I created the border, which I sponged with Tim Holtz Distressed Wild Honey.

Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers - Pears and Hollyhock
Paper: Mark's Finest Papers - Snow Storm Smooth, Spring Leaf, Lemon Slice
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distressed Wild Honey
Accessories: Martha Stewart punches, Copic markers, Sponge dauber, Pop dots
