CCEE2107 Love Your Pet Day

Manal continues this week as hostess for the CCEE Stampers and tells us that it is Love Your Pet Day.    She asked us to create a project which showcases pets, feeling free to include children.  I don't have any pets, but I have a good friend who loves her cat.  So that was the direction in which I went with my card.  I've had that pawprint patterned paper in my stash for years and finally had the chance to use it.  The main image is from Paper Nest Dolls.

Inside the card is a Karen Burniston pop-up die (the Flip Frame Pop-Up) along with the sentiment that accompanies the PND cutie on the front.

CCEE2039 Mushroom Month

For her final CCEE Stampers challenge this week, Frances told us that September is Mushroom Month and asked that we include one or more mushrooms (either stamped or die cut) on our creations.    The mushroom on the front of my card is both -- stamped and die cut.  I remember doing paper tole many years ago, and Riley & Company has a cute line of stamps called Mushroom Lane that you can use for paper tole.  The gnome on the front of the card and the ones on the inside are from Karen Burniston's new release.

Here is a close-up photo of the mushroom so you can hopefully see the paper-tole layers.  There are three layers.

The inside of the card has some more mushrooms, along with the Flip Frame Pop-Up die from Karen Burniston.

Check out the CCEE Stampers blog for some more mushrooms.

C4C552 - Stripes

This week the Crazy4Challenge team members are creating cards that include stipes.  We could create our own striped background by using paper scraps, striped stamps, or patterned paper.  As I have a ton of patterned paper, I went that route.  I also used several brand-new Karen Burniston dies.  The front is a tree from the Landscape Scene . . .

. . . and the inside shows off the Flip Frame Pop-Up, along with some Backyard Charms.

Check out the Crazy4Challenges blog to see how the rest of the team handled this striped challenge.
