Again I'm not an official member of the Blog Hop today, but I'm glad you stopped by to see what I did with today's set, Vintage Fashion. I thought a collage would be a good design for these vintage images, so I looked for some patterned paper that would lend itself to a collage. I added a clock face and a die-cut button.
For my second card today, I used a doily as the backdrop for the dress and paper-pieced the skirt and bodice front with the same paper I used for the background. I added a pretty bow and a hat pin to finish it off.

Both cards are beautiful. Love the collage layout. And, the placement of the doily in card #2 is perfect for the paper pieced image.
Love your cards. The second one is my favorite, I like the colors and the layout.
Great cards Lois. The images floating around give a sense of time to the first card and are all great fun. The second is so pretty with the lacey doily and the pretty bow. Well done. Happy Friday. Hugz

Two very pretty and elegant cards, Lois! I especially like the second card with the doily and the pretty stick pin!
Love the colour choices.

Even w/o you being on the DT for the hop, these cards are lovely and I really liked the idea of paper piercing the dress. Thanks for sharing!
Great cards. Especially like the second one. Hugz
Love the image with the doily, great cards.
Hugs, Sandy
