Here's an actual photo of my yard, so you can be the judge:
I live in a townhouse development, and you can see that my fence is actually a privacy fence rather than a picket fence; but I do have a palm tree back there. I don't have cats, but my neighbor's cat has made my backyard his second home! BTW, we dug up the grass soon after we moved in 27 years ago and put down mulch. I don't have much of a green thumb, and mulch seemed to be the better choice -- and the crotons give me some color back there. Out of camera range is a small patio that has a bistro table and two chairs as well as a rocker. I can go back there (when it's not too hot or rainy) and read. And, when it's in bloom, my hibiscus is beautiful!
Be sure to check out the rest of team's scenery over on the CCEE Stampers blog.

What a fabulous job you have done of recreating your beautiful backyard, Lois! Exquisite work on this sensational card!
Oh, Lois, I so enjoyed the tour of your back yard....it looks beautiful...quite a scene you created there!
Wow - you so captured the look of your backyard - love that! The little cats are such a fun addition too. When we move to wherever we are retiring, I am going to do mulch too so I don't have to cut the grass or water - what a great idea! Your card is wonderful! Hugz
Lois, this is fabulous. Thanks for sharing a little of a scene from your real life with us. You nailed it.
Love how you recreated a scene from your garden for this challenge
I love the scene you look upon each day, and how well you recreated it Lois! Brava!!
You really did capture your back yard on your card. Thank you for sharing the photo and the description of your yard too - I enjoyed reading that. We used to have a cat who adopted several neighbours - you'd think we didn't feed him or something!! I love the palm both on your card and in the photo.
how fun to see your backyard....and you truly caught its essence on your very fabulous card.....tfs, Lois
