Sabrina gave the CCEE Stampers a different kind of challenge this week -- a poem by Archibald MacLeish, called Ars Poetica. We were to pick one or more of the bits of imagery in the poem for inspiration. This is the part I chose:
"A poem should be . . .
Leaving, as the moon releases
Twig by twig the night-entangled trees,
Leaving, as the moon behind the winter leaves,
Memory by memory the mind . . . ."
If you'd like to play along with us, link your card up over on the CCEE Stampers Blog.

You certainly captured the essence of the poem, Lois. Great work!
I love your night tree and the moon! I can feel the chill. It appears we just about all latched onto this part of the poem. Wasn't this fun??
I was coming home late this evening from my aunt's and we have a full(ish, at any rate) moon just like this. But the tree at the end of our road has been cut down. This would be a fab masculine card with the dramatic bare tree and the super plaid background.
wow...you were truly inspired by the poem....just love that tree and the textured bkgd...fabbo
A fabulous scene you have created from the poem.
That is one of my favorite trees.
