CCEE1942 National Fossil Day

Kelli continues this week as hostess for the CCEE Stampers, and she tells us that yesterday was National Fossil Day.  A fossil is a preserved impression of a once-living thing from a past geological age, including plants, animals, shells, and more.  Her challenge:  create a card including anything that has been found as a fossil -- dinosaurs, leaves, amber, footprints, etc.

My Spinner Square card includes a dinosaur and some leaves, all of which have been found as fossils.

Check out the CCEE Stampers blog for some more blasts from the past!

This is absolutely darling, Lois! What a sweet dino! And those leaves! They look so much like the monstera leaves we have all over South Florida, growing lush and green. Super cute card for Fossil Day!

Such a cute card for this challenge. I had a new dinosaur diecut set that saved my life on this challenge. I almost used one of my old ladies from Unity as my fossil, but decided not to.
