CCEE1923 - Favorite School Subject

This month I'm serving as hostess for the CCEE Stampers challenge.  This is the 60th anniversary of my graduation from high school (June 9, 1959) -- Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.   So the challenge for the team this week is to make a card depicting their favorite subject in school.  This one was an easy one for me -- I LOVED history and, in particular, ancient history.  I think that, if I had my life to live over again, I might have wound up being an archeologist.  That's most likely why all those Indiana Jones movies spoke to me.  Of course, Harrison Ford was probably a draw as well!  Anyway, I digress.

For my card I pulled out an old pyramid stamp I bought many years ago and the Kindred Stamps Treasure Hunter stamp set to create my card.   Inside it says, "Happy Birthday."

To see what the rest of the team enjoyed in school, pop over to the CCEE Stampers blog and check out their cards.

What a fabulously fun card, Lois! I have a father and a son who have dabbled for years in archeology. My son manages a state museum on an historic Texas site which has on-going archeology. The things they find are a remarkable peek at the past.

Didn't we all at one time or another want to be Egyptologists? I love your pyramids in the bg, and the fun guy!!

This was a really fun challenge! Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane!
Harrison Ford comes to mind. What a fantastic card you created for your fav subject! I love the birthday quote that fits so perfectly! Great coloring too! Can almost see that sand lifting off and flying around!

History wasn’t my favourite subject, but I think the teacher helps you enjoy something. Fabulous card for this challenge

You sure picked one fun theme! My brother was a history major and got his Master's in history - oh he just LOVES it so much, so it makes me smile to see that you picked history, too! Your card is brimming with joy! Perfect stamp for the challenge, too! June is off to a good start, Lois!
