This month's CCEE hostess Sabrina gave us a choice this week (both techniques) -- either a waterfall card or a free-standing pop-up card.  I chose the latter.

I've only made one or two of this type of card in the past, but I thought it would make a cute Christmas card for a child so I chose this fat little snowman for the main image.  I found some buttons in my embellie box (which actually was my late husband's fishing tackle box -- but it works great for buttons and brads, etc.).

If you'd like to join in on the fun and make something different from the usual-size card, come on over to the CCEE Blog and upload your card using Mr. Linky at the bottom of the post.

Stamps:  Mark's Finest Papers - Snow Gifts
Paper:  MFP Cherry Slush, Deep Olive, Snow Storm Smooth; some scrap DP
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Copic markers, Circle punches, Corner rounder, Large Eyelet, Plaid Ribbon, Button

I must say that I am amazed and marvelling at all the fabulous cards everybody came up with this week! I love your crisp finish and clean lines here - I love how you did the tab (there is a hole punched through the circles, yes?), and the button is so perfect. This is really delightful, Lois.

Just adorable, Lois, and a fantastic job on your technique. I LOVE set you used because it has three of my favorite things, birds, birdhouses, and snowmen.

Really, really cute. This is the first time I've ever made one of these cards, but won't be the last. Again, adorable card and cute little button.
