CCEE2239 National Bring Your Bible to School Day

Lynn begins her month-long stint as hostess for the CCEE Stampers by telling us that today is National Bring Your Bible to School Day.  For today's CCEE challenge, we were to use a Bible Scripture as the sentiment on our cards.

I recently purchased several stamp and die sets from Honey Bee Stamps that are rainbow-related.  They worked perfectly for this challenge, reminding us of God's promise to man after the flood.

Check out the Bible verses that the rest of the team members chose on the CCEE Stampers blog.

Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Halloween

This month the Karen Burniston design team had a choice of either Halloween or Fall.  I chose Halloween.  I hadn't used the House and Fence die in quite a while, so I thought it was time to pull it out again.

For the front of my card I cut two Slim Pattern Plate - Bat die cuts and did a bit of surgery to create the background, adding a simple rectangle and the bat from the new Skeleton & Bat set.

With a little bit of help from the Haunted Tiny House Add-On set, the House and Fence set became Halloween-worthy.   Using some of the leftover bats cut from the front background, I added some spookiness to this little scene.  I trimmed two of the spooky trees from the Halloween Scene set, mounting them on the two "tree brackets" of the floating floor.

I love making Halloween cards, and this one was no exception.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Scor-Pal "More Than One Score" -- Halloween

This month's theme for the Scor-Pal "More Than One Score" challenge is a given -- Halloween!  I love making Halloween cards, and fun-fold cards are my favorites.  I saw this type of card made on Wednesday with Wendy (Wendy Van Arsdale); she called it a Crown Card.

CCEE2238 National Coffee Day

Kelly's final CCEE Stampers challenge this week is celebrating National Coffee Day.  She considers it a definite holiday in her eyes!  Not so with me.  I'm not a coffee drinker, but I like to make coffee-related cards for the rest of my family.  The card I made today is actually a gift card holder -- and it will be given to someone at Christmas.

As you can see, the gift card slips in behind the coffee cup.

Be sure to check out the CCEE Stampers blog for more coffee inspiration.

CCEE2237 First Day of Autumn

Kelly continues her gig as hostess for the CCEE Stampers this week by telling us that today is the first day of Autumn.  Her challenge was simple -- create a fall themed card.

I used one of the brand-new dies from Karen Burniston for my card -- the Label Charm Pop-Up.  I love this die set and have been making many cards with it since I received it.  Using some pretty fall papers and Karen's Autumn Elements die set, here is what I made to celebrate the beginning of fall..

Be sure to check out the CCEE Stampers blog for some more fall inspiration.

Riley & Company STAMPtember Collaboration

Riley & Company is again collaborating with Simon Says Stamps for STAMPtember.  The stamp set is called It's Your Day.  Members of the Karen Burniston Design Team have made some fun cards using this stamp set.

I've made two cards with this set along with some Karen Burniston dies.  The first one is a birthday card with lots of balloons.

On the inside are more balloons and the Karen Burniston Cake Pop-Up set, along with the Happy Birthday w/Shadow dies and Crosshatch Rectangle set.

My second card is a get-well card using the Landscape Rectangle Accordion die, some pretty plaid paper, and the Get Well Charms.

STAMPtember is always a lot of fun.  Some of the other Karen Burniston Design Team members have mae cards using this set as well.  I'm sure you can find them on the Karen Burniston Pop-Up Peeps page on Facebook.

CCEE2236 - International Dot Day

Kelly's challenge for the CCEE Stampers this week is to celebrate International Dot Day (today) by making a card with a circle, polka dots, or anything round.

As I tend to make Christmas cards all year 'round (get it -- "round"), my card is a Christmas card using a very cool die -- Sugar Pea Designs' interlocking circles.

And I even used some Christmas paper with red and green circles for the background.

Be sure to check out the CCEE Stampers blog to see how the rest of the team handled this challenge.
