MFP November Release - Calendar and New Year

The Mark's Finest Papers blog hop starts tomorrow.  We've got six marvelous stamp sets for you this month.  As usual there are five 4" x 6" sets and one mini set.

While not officially part of the Blog Hop, today we are featuring the Bonus set, Calendar, and the mini set, New Year.

I made a side-step card with New Year mini set, using all of the images and one of the sentiments.  In addition, this card includes an image from one of this month's regular sets, Out on the Town, which will be featured on Thursday.

I also made a project using Calendar, the extra set for November.  You could use this as a scrapbook page or just as a calendar page.  This set contains the names of all the months of the year, numbers you can mix and match, a symbol for each month, and some appropriate words.  I printed the calendar template from the internet and used the candy corn piece for Halloween (the last day of October) and the pumpkin for Thanksgiving.    I attached the page to the stand-up piece from a picture frame.  The images at the top are from two other MFP sets, I Am Thankful and Autumn Splendor.

You can see other cards using both of these sets on the Mark's Finest Papers blog.  I hope you stop back here tomorrow when the Blog Hop "officially" starts.  We hope to get your creative juices flowing with our samples.
