Joanne (jojot) is the hostess for the CCEE challenge this month. This week we were to create a spring scene. Spring may not be apparent is some parts of the country, but here in Florida it was almost summer -- with temperatures in the upper 80s a few days ago. I chose to make a CAS card this week, using a new set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, called Blessings.
After stamping that cute bunny, I gently colored him with grays -- just enough color so you can see him hiding in those pretty yellow lilies. I have found that, when I make a CAS card (which is not too very often), I do like the look of the broken single line framing the image.
If you'd like to play along with the CCEE gals, check out the blog.
Stamps: Mark' Finest Papers - Blessings

Temperatures in the eighties - can I come and visit?? It's been mild here, but you're still only talking about (quick calculation) 54F. I like that sort of simple frame on CAS cards too, and I really like the way you've included your sentiments at an angle.
Wonderful Spring creation, Lois. I do like that you framed the bunny with the simple line.
We had an 83 degree day last week and that was awesome. But, as you know, I'm paying for these warm temps with allergies. Well, it has to come now or later. Thanks for your sympathy.
Lois, I love the gray for the bunny, and the line framing! Great job....this really says Spring to me (and we are having snow, so I really need Spring!).
I must agree with you, Lois, about the broken line framing; it's the perfect finishing touch! Beautiful Easter card!
Awwww, this is so sweet. I love this image and you have colored it wonderfully.
Just DARLING!!~
It's been in the 60's here the last 2 days and I can't wait for the 80's and 90's. Your card is beautiful, Lois - I love the shading in and amongst the pretty lilies and your bunny is so very cute - wonderful!
Adorable card! That flopsy eared bunny is darling!
I am going to have to break down someday and get one of these MFP/H rabbit sets....too dang cute and cuddly...this one has an elegance as it is framed by the lilies
