Living in Florida, I don't get to see much Fall scenery; but the grocery stores all have pumpkin pie (my favorite)! So for my first card, I made a little scene from the pumpkin patch. It's a little difficult to see them, but I added some wire tendrils for my pumpkins.

I saw a gift card holder on SCS that looked like a purse. It was made using two diecuts from the Top Note die and a large circle die. There were no specific directions, so this is my attempt. I stamped the oak leaves image twice, masking the first one, and then colored them with Copic and Prismacolor markers.
Don't you just love that owl with her big fancy eyes? And here's the inside. As you can see, the "purse" stays closed with the velcro strips.
Be sure to check out the rest of the team's creations using today's sets.

ReplyDeleteHow sad that you don't get to see fall. That is one of the biggest blessings living in the midwest. Today the trees outside my window are changing more and more. There are rust, red, orange, and yellows. I would share them with you if I could. I love how your broken fence looks with those pumpkins. Just gorgeous. I like your little "purse".
