Liz starts off her month as hostess for the CCEE Stampers with a challenge close to my heart -- to celebrate Library Lovers month. She asks us to use a reading or book theme for our cards this week. I have always loved to read, and that love continues. There was a time when I thought I would like to be a librarian. That never happened, but I still read lots of books . . . sometimes on my Kindle but most of the time with a "real" book.
As I'm sure you know, I'm a big Harry Potter fan; so the inside of my card includes an attached bookmark with Harry on it, resplendent in his Gryffindor colors.
Be sure to check out the literary cards from the rest of the team over on the CCEE Stampers blog.
I knew you would pick Harry!!!! What a great card you made for him!!! Never read this series, but I play Trivia Crack and get lots of Harry Potter questions....which I usually miss!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love that this includes a bookmark. It matches your block setup so well.
ReplyDeleteI love your card and bookmark, and that inside sentiment is fabulous. That's how I always feel......sometimes I reopen the front and read again!!
ReplyDeletewasn't suurprised to see Harry as part of your design....I too have been and continue to be a 'heavy duty' reader......it has always been a fav form of entertainment and escape
ReplyDeleteyour card is fabulous
fabulous designer paper for this challenge, and I love your bookmark,
ReplyDeleteFabulous card for this week's CCEE challenge, Lois! I love the shelved books on the front with the READ sentiment and that fun Harry Potter book mark inside! My granddaughters both became avid readers while reading the HP series as very young children.
ReplyDeleteI loved the Harry Potter books, I may just be inspired by your card to read them all over again.
