For her last week as hostess of the CCEE Stampers challenge, Joanne gave us four requirements for our cards: heat embossing, paper piercing, paper piecing, and a frame. Here's my card:
I think I covered all Joanne's requirements:
* The large camellia and the sentiment are both heat-embossed.
* The oval is pierced.
* The pink camellia is pieced.
* The pink DP was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and then the oval was die-cut out of the center, forming the frame.
Go over the CCEE Stampers blog to see how the rest of the team handled Joanne's challenge.
Beautiful, Lois. Love how you put the sentiment on the smaller rose!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, ditto on the sentiment.

ReplyDeleteLove this in pink and I agree with Vicky and Frances, I love the way the sentiment is done.
ReplyDeleteNice job combining all these elements. Such a pretty in pink card, Lois!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design with your pretty pink camellia! Wonderful work, Lois!
ReplyDeleteWell done you on piercing the oval - it looks great, as does your negative frame. And piecing was a great way to add just a hint of shading to the beautiful flower.
ReplyDeleteLois...this is so clean, classy, and pretty
