Sabrina gave the CCEE Stampers a little language lesson today. The Finnish word for February is "helmiku," which means "month of the pearl." So she asked us to use pearls on our cards -- the easy way (with pearls or Liquid Pearls) or a more adventurous way using a pearl technique of some sort. I have to confess I took the easy way out. I used Liquid Pearls. You can see them on the dragonflies' heads.
Visit our blog to see how adventurous the rest of the CCEE Stampers were.
Very pretty
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely silhouette design with your cattails and dragonflies, Lois! I love this beautiful black and white card with its pearls and silver mat!
ReplyDeleteA great card and love that subtleness of the pearls.
ReplyDeleteI love silhouettes and this card is a winner in my book, Lois!
ReplyDeleteI just love cattails, and those dragonflies hovering above them are what I often see in real life. I love the single pearl added to each one, Lois!
ReplyDeleteLiquid Pearls are perfect! I have been a big fan of them for years :D. And they look wonderful on the dragonflies. What a very stylish CAS card which would be as suitable for a guy as for a woman.
ReplyDeletelove the black and white and touch of pearls on the dragonflies
ReplyDeleteWow Lois! You used two of my favorite MFP stamps stunningly on this card! I have never created a black and white card with them though. I am definitely filing this away for future!!! Beautiful sparkle with the glitter paper and pearls!
