Please hop along with us! You have a chance to win one of the above stamp sets! Just comment on the participating blogs (don't forget this one), each day for more chances to win! (You do NOT have to comment on all the blogs each day! The names are drawn randomly!) All four winners will be announced on Saturday, November 29, 2014, on the MFP Stamp Shop blog. You can go back and comment if you missed a day. (HINT: The more you comment, the more chances you have to win; and comments on the MFP blog count twice!) The deadline for commenting is 10 PM EST on Friday,

When I first looked at today's set, Crisp Winter, I thought of a big stained glass window; and it reminded me of an Arched Window die I have. While I didn't actually use the die to cut out my shape (it was just a bit too narrow), I did use it to draw the shape. The branch on the bottom panels of my window is from another MFP set, Chill in the Air. I created the snowflakes using masking fluid. I wrote a tutorial for this technique, which you can see here.
Be sure to check out the rest of the MFP design team to see how they used Crisp Winter.

ReplyDeleteLois, these cards came out so great! I love the stained glass look (very creative way you achieved that) and the CAS cards are wonderful too. Well done - you showed some awesome ways this very cool set can be used. Hugz
