With a new month, the CCEE Stampers have a new hostess -- Sabrina. For her first challenge in September, Sabrina asked us to use a bird or birds and music. I've been on a Christmas card kick for the past month or so, and today was no exception.
I used several different sets from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, on my card. The music is from Christmas Music; the bird is from Christmas Cardinals; and the sentiment is from a non-Christmas set called Spring Joy. I used some glossy accents on the cardinal's eye and the holly berries and sponged around the edge of the card with Tim Holtz Worn Lipstick.
We'd love for you to play along with us. If you decide to do that, be sure to link up your card with Mr. Linky at the end of the CCEE Blog post.

ReplyDeleteYou and Brenda both made such gorgeous Christmas cards - I wish I'd thought of that. That music stamp is beautifully done - looks just like the pages in some of my old hymn books downstairs. And I always love cardinals :D. Maybe one day I'll finally get to see them in real life. It's a lovely clean layout, too.
