After cutting out the pumpkins, I popped them up on a circle of MFP Rusty Nail and Corn Husk and mounted the circle on my card. The sentiment is from the same SU set, and the DP is from a pad of Debbie Mumm harvest patterned paper that I bought last year. The layout is part of September's collection from Page Maps.
These cute little pilgrim children salt & pepper shakers match the set of adult salt & pepper shakers I posted a couple of weeks ago. They also are from Publix supermarket and appear in their Thanksgiving TV commercials.

ReplyDeleteso very lovely....CAS and yet so warm and rich....thought of you when I was in Myrtle...went to a gift shop that had a huge collection of salt/pepper shakers.....
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely, Lois!! Such nice coloring, a beautiful sentiment, and awesome Debbie Mumm paper!! Great job on Brenda's pumpkin-y Thanksgiving challenge :)
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment on this one! Saw a pair of salt and pepper shakers while in Prague last week that you would have liked. The salt was a white china angel, the pepper a black devil, both in a modern sleek design. The significance of these is tied up in the Czech traditions for Christmas where if you've been good, an angel brings you treats; but if you've been bad, the devil ... well, you get the idea... Anyway, I thought of you when I saw them.
