What a Fun Weekend!

I just got back from Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in north Florida. Faith (Markie's Mom on Spitcoaststampers) holds a stamping retreat twice a year there. All I'm showing you today are some of my stamping buddies (both old and new ones) and a few of the many projects we created during our almost non-stop stamping marathon. It was so much fun meeting many of the people you "talk" to on the computer.

This is NancyRuth (an SCSer) and my very dear friend Rosemary. I had met NancyRuth in March at another of Faith's retreats. It was good to see her again. NancyRuth and I are both part of the StampinB's, as is Faith.

Here's my friend Rosemary again with Vicki (vducher on SCS), a new stamping friend. I had never met Vicki before, but we almost felt like we knew each other well. After seeing each other's avatars on SCS, we recognized each other right away. It was like seeing an old friend again.

And here are Robbie (inkyfingers on SCS) and Peggy (pegmac71 on SCS). Rosemary, Robbie, Peggy, and I made our way together through the many tables of projects for two days.
-------
Here are some of the almost 45 projects we completed during our marathon. Faith prepared around 20 projects for us, and we each brought a shoebox swap to share.

Unfortunely, there were a few of the shoebox swaps that I was unable to complete Saturday night. I did grab most of the unfinished projects and brought them home to complete. Of course, I had to use different stamp sets for these projects. And I think I did miss one of them completely.

I must admit I didn't get much sleep between the stamping and the visiting. I will definitely sleep well this week! Of course, I have a busy stamping weekend scheduled on Friday and Saturday of this week too! Rosemary and I have our monthly "girls day out" on Friday, and Saturday is a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. But I'm not complaining!!!
